Upon successful completion of his Residency, Dr. Swischuk completed a one year fellowship at the University of Miami in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. For the next two years, Dr. Swischuk served as Director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida/Shands in Jacksonville, Florida. Concurrently, he served as their Director of Vascular and Interventional fellowship program. His special interest areas are dialysis vascular management, trauma intervention, thrombolytics, peripheral vascular interventions and TIPS Intervention. Dr. Swischuk joined RAH in July, 2000 and has recently been appointed as Co-director of Interventional Radiology.

	Case Report: 16 year old male with liver laceration from auto accident in shock from bleeding. Bleeding from ruptured pseudoaneurysm demonstrated on hepatic angiogram.
	After coil embolization of the left hepatic artery, and after thrombin injection into the pseudoaneurysm, bleeding stops.
	Initial CAT scan at time of presentation with large liver laceration and hematoma
	Final Result CAT SCAN after coil embolization and thrombin injection to control liver bleeding.  The liver has healed back to normal appearance.
