Chest X-Rays COMMENTS?

Chest Xray Information Page:

Chest X-rays are useful for evaluating the heart and lungs and can detect most abnormalities in the chest. A chest X-ray can be performed quickly and does not expose the patient to much radiation. There are times, however, when a CAT scan will have to be performed to better assess an abnormality shown on a chest X-ray. As well, a chest X-ray may not be good at detecting small pulmonary nodules which are much better shown with chest CAT scan.

Pulmonary edema is caused by fluid accumulation in the lung tissue and can be associated with congestive heart failure as well as many other causes.
Pleural effusion is accumulation of fluid in the pleural space, between the lung and the chest wall. The lung may be compressed by the fluid collection if it is quite large.
Pneumonia in right upper lobe
Pneumonia is usually caused by some form of bacterial infection of the lung tissue.
